12th International Summer School of Condensed Matter Physics was held from June 22 to July 2, 1998 in Suprasl near Bialystok, Poland.

We invite you to our next meeting 13th International School of Condensed Matter Physics: 5 - 12 July, 1999

    Sponsors
Institute of Physics, University at Bialystok; Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University at Bialystok; State Committee for Scientific Research; Polish Physical Society

    Scope of the School
The School was dedicated to the Physics and Chemistry of Modern Materials.
The essential goal of the School is to give an opportunity to young scientists (undergraduate and PhD students) to learn about important problems in condensed matter physics on a highly tutorial level, often starting from very basic ideas. The second important goal is to offer a place for scientists from East and West to meet one another.

    Location
International School of Condensed Matter Physics till now was traditionally held in Bialowieza, Poland. The 12th School was organized in another lovely place, Suprasl, 15 km North-East from Bialystok. The small town Suprasl lies in the woods called Puszcza Knyszynska. The accommodation in PUSZCZA hotel consists of 2 or 3 persons per room equipped with bathrom. Local bus provide frequent service from Suprasl to Bialystok, a town of 300 thousands habitants.

    Language
The official language of School is English.

Payment The total cost of the School is 230 USD (about 800 NLP) for active participants and 190USD (about 660 NLP) for accompanying persons.
The fee includes full board in Suprasl, excursion, banquet and School Proceedings.
